The Real Cost Of Being Powerful

Welcome home

I used to think the cost of being powerful was that I would be shunned by my partner, my family and by strangers online. That I would be too much to be accepted and ‘dealt with’. But then I learned it was actually costing me my flow, alignment and feeling the grounded truth of myself that changes reality when I move.

I was taught to be seen and not heard, helpful and not needing help, and to never demand attention. As a child, I’d create something wild, bright, beautiful—and shout “LOOK AT ME!”  as I showed the world this fresh new look. My childlike nature was SHINY and unique AF. And every time I looked for an amazed face on this new ‘thing’ I brought the world, I was met with ‘get out of the way’, ‘stop and shut up’, and ‘you’re annoying the shit out of me’.

Waiting for other people to notice how powerful and creative I was until one day the rejection just became too much and I stopped sharing the most alive parts of myself. My creativity shut down. My power went underground becuase it was deemed ‘unuseful and a waste of resources’. And I sure as shit learned never EVER to brag AKA be proud of myself.

But here’s the thing: The more I say out loud and with feeling… I am a super powerful MF, I heal the parts of me that feel like if I spoke my truth I’d be erased. That being seen was dangerous. The more I claim myself,
the more the world reflects back what I’ve buried. The world reflects back to you, who you claim from the inner depths. And by playing small and pretending I am not the badass strong, intelligent and POWERFUL (holy fuck am I powerful) woman that I am… the world around you— even the most trusted people— will still just reflect back to you that limited version of yourself. You can’t be seen for who you are while hiding it to stay safe.

This is especially true for women with a big Scorpio Complex (the sign, prominent Pluto, or 8th house), Aries Complex (the sign, prominent Mars, or 1st house), and Leo Complex (the sign, prominent sun or 5th house) to name just a few.

Your power is meant to be felt.
Stop waiting for someone to invite it forward. You’re the one who does that.

When you understand your archetypes, you stop shrinking to be understood—and start shaping reality by being true. Learning about your archetypes can help you claim your aligned truth so it is reflected in your reality.
